‘Hot Water Baseboard Heating’

Adjacent (hot-water) baseboard heating registers — one hot, one not in the same room. How’s this possible?

Hot Water System FAQ:

I am certain the hot water makes a complete loop and there’s no air in the system (pipes). I know because I feel the very hot water leaving the boiler and feel the somewhat cooler water returning into the boiler. Yet, improbable as it sounds: at two separate, ajacent and perpindicular heat registers (one 10′, one 6′), in two seperate rooms and on the same heating loop, I have this problem. I suspect some type of blockage but the loop is completed. Before I call in a Pro, I’d like to have an ideal of what’s going on. I the meantime I’ve raised the thermostat. Lastly, this is a 4 year old house and I believe this condition has existed since it was built.

Hot Water System FAQ:

Hi- the apt I live in has a hot water baseboard heating system. I turned the thermostat to 75 degrees but nothing happens, I feel no heat. The baseboards are cold & I don’t even hear any water circulating.

Can you tell me in layman’s terms, please, what I can do to try to fix this myself asap before resorting to calling my landlord?

Thank you.
If you’re not going to offer any assistance, then why the useless commentary, Joker?
