Hot Water System FAQ:


I have a oil fired tankless system with hot water baseboard. When the circulator starts, I can hear air bubbles in the baseboard. The system has a air scoop, and expansion tank. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a gas boiler with a hot water storage tank ,and for over a week now the heating works fine but the hot water to the sink and bath is cold or very luke warm .I’ve raised the thermostat temperature on the boiler , checked and tried all the settings on the controler ,I’ve tried leaving the system on 24hours to build up some water in the tank but still it’s only luke warm. I’ve also checked the expansion tank in the loft to make sure the ball valve isn’t stuck .. Any ideas ?
The boiler is 25 years old .

There ’s no gas fire in the living room so no dial to adjust ..
It’s set to heating and water (but I’ve tried them all)

What is a underslab leak ?
