Hot Water System FAQ:


What is going on the pressure comes out really low and the water system is off hot/cold. More hot though lately. What does this mean?
The showhead hasn’t been replaced in like five years but I doubt if it is that. We have a sprinkler system and when someone turns on the faucet in the kitch the water does get affected. howver the sprinkler was not on and noone else was at home. This has been for a while now. Does this have anything to do with the boiler in my house like the pressure set for the house?

converting to gas.New boiler and hot water tank.One plummer said I should consider running hot water thru my radiators instead of steam.Said he’s done it to older homes and it’s a lot of work.#1,can it be done,and #2 is it more efficient.Also,what brand name boiler would anyone recomend. Hot water zoned radiant floor heating.

My out put temperature from the main manifold is designed to be 120 degrees, however, on the very first “test run” of just one zone activated, it seemed like an eternity to get some heat.

Is this the nature of this type of heating system?

The main high temperature loop at the boiler seemed very hot (140 degrees, as intended).

My HePEX tubing is the correct size, and no longer than 200 feet. The entire system is built based on a custom engineered designed specifically for this project.
